| Team Eligibility Criteria |
- All players for any one Team must be current residents of the State of Texas
- Team Roster must be submitted

| Team Profile and Playing Rules |
- A Team shall be made up of 11 players, 7 men and 4 ladies
- A Team Captain shall be named. This person is not required to play but, if intended to play,
the Captain must be listed on the Team Roster
- Each Team shall designate one roster player to participate in any conflict rulings, etc., when
requested by an Official. This player may not participate in any rulings directly involving his/her team
- Only 9 players may participate in any one match
- Each player is required to play 2 games during each match
- Once the Team Roster is submitted for Registration, no substitutes are allowed without specific
approval of the Tournament Committee (before the competition) or the Protest Committee (during the competition)

| Tournament Format |
- The Tournament will be run as a "modified" Round Robin. That is, a number of flights or brackets will be formed depending upon the
total number of teams entered
- The Teams will be assigned to flights by a "luck of the draw" method
- The Teams then compete under standard Round Robin format to decide the qualifiers of their flight for advancement to the Finals. If
there isn't an even number of teams in the brackets then 1 leg of 1201 will advance the wild card teams
- Top eight teams will advance to the semi-final round, which will be two brackets of 4 teams each, two teams from each bracket will
advance to the Finals Bracket

| Match Format |
- The format for the Matches was designed for the 9-player team so that each player competes in exactly 2 games
- Each match will consist of nine (9) games with 1 leg in each game. A team earns 1 game point for each game won
- All nine games are played. In case of ties for the number of matches won, the total number of game points won is used
as a tie breaker
- The team earning 5 or more points wins the match

| Order of Play |
- Team Captains may agree to play the games in any sequence, except that the Mixed 5-Player 1201 game which must be played last
- If the Captains cannot reach an agreement, for any reason, then the games shall be played in the order shown on Match Report Sheet

| Tiebreakers |
- In keeping with the Team concept, the WINNERS and second place in each bracket will be determined as follows:
- 1st.....the Team with the most MATCHES won
- if a tie (any number of teams)
- 2nd.....the Team with most GAMES (legs) won
- 3rd.....the Team with the most MIXED 1201 5-person games won
- 4th.....the Team with the most MIXED 601 3-person games won
- 5th.....the Team with the most DOUBLES games won
- 6th.....the Team with the most SINGLES games won
- If the brackets don't have the same number of teams then 1 leg of 1201 5-person mixed will be used to determine among all teams qualified
for wild card spots the 1st and 2nd teams to take the game out
